Energy Manufacturing Construction


This popular course of study is designed to help meet the need for qualified construction professionals in our community. It is supported by the Northeast Florida Builders Association and the State of Florida Apprenticeship program.
To assure the finest possible training, the construction industry is closely involved in curriculum planning and technical-skill development.

Career Pathways:

  • Electrical:
    Residential and commercial wiring, electrical/electronic theory, motor controls and programmable logic controllers.
  • AC & Heating:
    Residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. (HVAC)
  • Plumbing:
    Residential plumbing/pipe trades and irrigation systems.
  • Architectural Drafting/AutoCAD:
    Get a full understanding of Computer Aided Design and the principles of formal drafting.
  • Carpentry:
    Learn residential construction, framing, power tools, basic woodworking, and tools of the trade.

We have many corporate partners (i.e. The Haskell Company and Florida Rock) and many trade associations (NEFBA, IBEW, and JP&P) to assist you during the educational process. They also offer assistance in securing a job upon your graduation.
