The 2010-2011 year was a success for our school. Last year, the students increased the overall FCAT accountability grade for the school by 28 points. In addition, approximately 94 industry certifications were earned and 24 students passed their advanced placement exam. This is truly a lot to celebrate.

THE RENAISSANCE: The Final Phase is the theme for the this school year. This year we have implement a student motto to keep students focused on their dreams. The student motto is “With these hands, with this heart, and with this mind, I can do anything.”
With continued efforts, our students will achieve more and make history at Asa Philip Randolph.  The faculty and staff are prepared to offer a new year of learning and discovery that will focus on providing students with new challenges that will result in a rewarding school experience.  In addition, the faculty, staff and administration will continue to be committed to providing a positive and safe environment for all students.

Academically, our focus will remain on core content areas and the academy programs.  Students will be provided with an opportunity to experience and explore areas of interest and skills.  This focus will help students prepare for college or the workforce.

Again, I am excited about the new school year and possibilities!  I encourage students to get involved in all of the wonderful extra-curricular and academic-support activities we have planned for this school year and take advantage of the many learning opportunities.

Sincerely,
Kenneth T. Reddick, Principal
