It is a real pleasure to
welcome new and returning parents to Darnell-Cookman Middle/High
School. We hope that you had a productive and restful summer.
The first few weeks of school are always exciting for students and
parents, but especially now because we are both a Middle and High
School and beginning a new legacy with the new School of the Medical
Arts.
Although the name may have
changed our mission remains the same and we are all looking forward
to the start of another successful school year.
As parents of
Darnell-Cookman students, you are all part of our Darnell-Cookman
community. We hope that you will join us as partners in
ensuring that each student reaches his/her full potential.
Our PTA is launching

This year we are looking to
make your time at Darnell-Cookman Middle/High School as enjoyable
and informative as possible. We encourage all Darnell-Cookman
parents with an interest in supporting the work of the PTA to
contact us. There are volunteer opportunities of all sizes and
descriptions that could benefit from your talents. We look
forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time.
