Dear Parents of FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS:
Welcome to fifth grade at Englewood Elementary School. It would be a great help if the following supplies could be purchased prior to the first day of school (August 20, 2007).
READING and ENGLISH
X One-and-a-half inch three-ring notebook with:
*a clear plastic insert on the cover.
*pockets on the inside and back covers.
X One package of subject dividers with tabs
MATH AND SPELLING
X Two-inch three-ring notebook with:
*a clear plastic insert on the cover.
*pockets on the inside and back covers.
SCIENCE and SOCIAL STUDIES
X One RED pocket folder with tabs to insert notebook paper.
X One BLUE pocket folder with tabs to insert notebook paper.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SUPPLIES
X #2 pencils
X eraser (white if possible)
X small pencil sharpener
X one checking pen (NOT blue or black)
X one pocket folder for WRITING with tabs to insert notebook paper (any color except red)
X a lot of wide ruled notebook paper
FOR THE CLASSROOM
X one package of assorted highlighters
X one or more packages of Post-it notes (any size)
X one liquid soap dispenser
X one large box of Kleenex
DO NOT BRING permanent markers, spiral notebooks, mechanical pencils, or trapper keepers.
