Why a New Vision for Kernan Trail Elementary?

Previously, Kernan Trail Elementary was part of Kernan Middle School. They shared the same vision. The Kernan Trail School Advisory Council decided it would benefit the school to change and personalize our vision for an elementary school. With the effort of parents, teachers, students and administrators, several vision options were created. Representatives of each stakeholder group went back to their group to come to consensus on the new vision statement. I thank all of the people who assisted in the process and I am proud to announce the new vision statement for Kernan Trail Elementary is:

KTE inspires students, teachers and parents to take the journey of lifelong learning through our commitment to teaching, our quest for learning and community involvement.

If you are a parent or community member who is interested in participating in projects like the vision process, please come to the next School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting. SAC is always working on projects that will better Kernan Trail Elementary and we could use you.
