International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program

Candidate School Status.

The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program is a program of study that emphasizes the education of the whole child through an inquiry based model with a global focus.

Lake Shore Middle School is well on our way to becoming an IB World School. We received candidate status, the first milestone in our three year journey, in September. Many of our teachers have now received official IB training, with many being scheduled to go to training this summer.

Update: Lake Shore Middle School submits our official application to become an IB school on May 27!

Beginning in the 4th nine week marking period, parents will be able to access student grades online.

On-Course will be accessible to parents after they have requested a password from the school.
