Students at Lake Shore Middle School benefit from many programs and extra curricular activities. From our Get Real club, a girls' leadership club affiliated with Girl Scouts of America, to the chess club, our students take an active part in exploring their interests. Students are challenged academically and encouraged to explore their interests beyond the classroom. Lake Shore offers the following clubs:

Approaches to Learning Lake Shore students are taught tools that empower them to take responsibility for their own learning. Community and Service Students at Lake Shore learn to be active citizens in their local and world communities. Students at Lake Shore are required to complete a minimum of five hours of community service beyond the classroom per school year. Environments Students learn about man's interdependence with the environment around them. Human Ingenuity Students are taught creative thinking and problem solving skills that students can Health and Social Education Students at Lake Shore are taught how to make positive and healthy choices for their physical and emotional health.
