Science The Science course offerings will cover a variety of concepts. Students may choose classes from an assortment of challenge levels. The core classes are Biology, Chemistry, and Earth/Space Science. These fill the county requirements. Other courses that may be available depending on enrollment include: Biology (via dual enrollment through F.C.C.J ), Chem.-Com, Active Physics, Marine Science, Environmental Science (Ecology) and Astronomy. Advanced placement and Honors levels will also be offered in Chemistry, Physics and Biology. All science courses utilize computers and “hands on“ lab experiences. Advanced and honors courses require “Science Projects” and “Research Projects,“ some of which may require various types of field experience. The Science Department at Lee is dedicated to the needs of the student in preparing for his/her future.
