Mission/Vision statement:
Faculty and
staff at Ortega Elementary School are committed to meeting the
academic, social, and emotional needs of its students. We are
dedicated to providing our students with a challenging, educational
experience to promote life-long learning. We prepare our students to
become successful citizens in a culturally diverse world by
instilling the concepts of being organized, respectful, thoughtful,
enthusiastic, giving, and having an optimistic attitude toward life
and its endeavors. We believe it is our responsibility to find the
strengths and talents in every child in order to help them develop a
positive self concept which will enable them to become productive
