Dance
Debra Rankin, Instructor
Students
at Pine Forest take dance class once a week. During the year,
students will learn the basic fundamental elements of dance in
ballet and modern. They explore creative options with movement
while learning dance basics and proper alignment of the body.
Each student is expected to do their individual best to improve
and show gains while meeting the state dance standards during
the school year. |
| EXPECTATIONS
Everyone is expected to dress
out and be prepared physically and mentally for every dance class.
Freedom of movement is necessary in order to learn the art and
athleticism of dance. Proper dance attire aids the student’s
growth and development and instills in the student the discipline
necessary to meet the standards in dance.
- Students are expected to dress out weekly.
- Be attentive and cooperative.
- Follow directions and all rules.
- Dance in own space.
- Be courteous to all students and teachers.
- SMILE AND TRY YOUR BEST!!
