 Strings

Ralph Coleman, Director

String Instruction is available to all Pine Forest students in grades
3 – 5. Instruction is offered on Cello, Viola and Violin.

Classes meet twice per week. Students are pulled from the regular classroom. Students are expected to attend classes regularly and make up any missed class work.

String Students must succeed in all subjects. Academics are a must for performing arts. Hearts & Heads need to be connected. Only then can we Work in Unison and Live in Harmony.

All participating students must have an instrument to practice & perfect the skills they learn in class. Instruments may come from any source as long as the instruments are of competent quality. Please ask if you have any questions.

School instruments are available. There is a $25 annual maintenance fee. The fee covers normal wear and use. The fee does not cover breakage, damage, or the replacement of strings. The fee is not refundable if the students drops out of the program or leaves the school. There is a summer rental program for string students at $15 for the summer.
