PSAT/MNSQT INFORMATION
WHO? All ninth, tenth, and eleventh graders
WHAT? Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test/ National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test
WHEN? Wednesday, October 14, 2009
WHERE? PAXON School for Advanced Studies
WHY?

Practice for the Scholastic Assessment Test

Gain feedback on areas of strength and
weakness to improve test scores

For juniors, qualifying test for the
National Merit Scholarship Program Competition

Gain access to services at the
College Board website
HOW?
-
Ninth and tenth graders are paid for by the
district and state, respectively.

Juniors must pay the
$13.00 test fee.
-
Money is being
collected through English class.
-
Cash or check/money
order payable to PAXON
All students grade 9-11 should have received a PSAT
bulletin including a full length practice test from their English teachers.
It is the expectation that all PAXON students grades
9-11
will take the PSAT/NMSQT as part of the PAXON
curriculum.
