Excessive Absence Letters
The Duval County Pupil Progress
Plan requires all schools to send letters notifying parents of
excessive absences. Upon the 3rd absence in any class
period (excused or unexcused) a letter will be mailed to the parent
or guardian. It is the responsibility of the parent/ guardian to
submit documentation regarding the absences to Student Services upon
return of the student.
If your student is ill and will
be or has been out multiple days, contact guidance at 693-7583 to
request work and notify the school of the absences.
