     Jean Ribault High School is Thirsty! The students, faculty and community of Ribault High School are all connected in the effort to improve the lives of the citizens of Jacksonville. For many years the perception of our school and our community has been that of despair and hopelessness. As we enter the 2009-2010 school year we realize that this perception is changing in part due to the work of our stakeholders within the gates of Ribault High School. We are committed to providing a rigorous curriculum that will challenge and uplift our students. We are committed to providing quality instructors who provide instruction every day. We are committed to providing a safe and civil environment for all of our students.

     As we work to provide all of the essentials for our students, we invite each of you in the Jacksonville community to join us in our pursuit. After raising our school grade from the previous year, we have set a goal to improve it once again. We are thirsty for this achievement from our students and faculty.

     Therefore, be ever vigilant on the watch as the Trojans from Winton Drive lead the way. Our students will continue to be thirsty for success. Our faculty will continue to be thirsty for results. So, we invite you to be thirsty for the change in our community that will provide all of these goals. I look forward to working with each of you this year.
