Kindergarten Math Standards

Children must:

• Recognize numbers 0-50
• Write  0-50
• Count to 50
• Identify positional words  (first, second, third...)
• Identify shapes (circle, square, triangle rectangle, oval and diamond)
• Use patterning skills
• Add through 6
• Subtract from 6
• Classify objects
• Identify fraction (1/2)
• Tell time by hour
• Measure objects
• Money - Recognize penny, nickel, dime and quarter. 
• Name days of week
• Name months of year
• Read pictographs
