Hi, my name is Becky Nelson and I am the school instructional coach.  My job is to provide teachers with tools that help them in the classroom.  As a coach I help plan lessons, provide professional development for the faculty, and provide instructional support for teachers. I love having the opportunity to work in many classrooms and with many students!

I have been teaching in Duval County for 25 years and have been an instructional coach for the last nine.  I grew up in Jacksonville attending Spring Park Elementary, Landon Middle, and Wolfson High School.

I received my BA from the great Florida State University in Elementary Education and my Masters of Education with a reading endorsement K-12 from the University of North Florida and became a National Board Certified teacher in 2002. 

My husband of 32 years and I have two great sons and as Seminole alumni spend football season weekends in Tallahassee watching the Noles play or in nice weather we are boating.
