Classroom Supplies

Backpack

Nylon zip-up pencil pouch

* #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)*

*Wide-ruled loose leaf notebook paper*

Erasers

Highlighter

Large glue sticks

Crayons (24 count or less)

Large box of tissue

Liquid soap

 * 6 two-pocket folders with prongs:  one of each color: blue, green, red, yellow, purple, and orange (Each color will be used for a different subject).  Plastic folders are preferred over the paper ones, as they are more durable and you won’t have to replace them.

* Your child will need a large supply of pencils and notebook paper for school and for home. We strongly encourage you to buy plenty of these items during the back-to-school sales, so students have an ample, but less expensive, supply for the school year.

* Individual teachers may request additional supplies. A supply list will be sent home on the first day of school from your child’s teacher.

* Scholastic News Magazines will be used to supplement Social Studies and Science instruction.  The cost is $4.40.
