Brenda Jackson is a successful author with more than 70 books to her
credit, tow of which have been made into films. She started her
writing career in Jacksonville while at Northwestern Middle and
graduated from Raines High School. One of her many honors is
that of being the first African-American romance author to be
published under Harlequin as well as being "the first
African-American romance author to make USA Today's Bestseller list
and the New York Times Bestseller's List for the series romance
genre." We are thrilled to have Mrs. Jackson come visit Atlantic
