Mrs. Ashley and Mrs. Spooner
make up your Media Team at Atlantic Coast High School.
Mrs. Ashley has been
an educator in Duval County schools since 1993, first in the
classroom, then as a Media Specialist. Before moving to Florida in
1993, she taught elementary school in North Carolina. She graduated
from Appalachian State University, Summa cum Laude, in 1992. Her
Masters of Library and Information Science was earned at Florida
State University in 2002. She has been married over 25 years and has
three children.
Mrs. Spooner has
served as a Media Clerk for Duval County Public schools for more
than eight years. She grew up in the Jacksonville area, graduating
from UNF.
After working for the State of
Florida for 18 years, she began
volunteering in the Media
Centers at her sons' schools.
In 2002, she went to work
full-time for Duval County
Public Schools, continuing as an
assistant in the Media Center.
She is very excited to have the
opportunity to work at our 21st
century school!
