Title: 4.  AUDITOR GENERAL'S REPORT ON SIGNIFICANT FINDINGS AND FINANCIAL TRENDS DISCLOSED IN CHARTER SCHOOL, CHARTER TECHNICAL CAREER, AND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD AUDIT REPORTS PREPARED BY INDEPENDENT CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2003

Requested Action:

THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD ACCEPT THE REPORT, AS INFORMATION AND PUBLIC RECORD, ON SIGNIFICANT FINDINGS AND FINANCIAL TRENDS DISCLOSED IN CHARTER SCHOOL, CHARTER TECHNICAL CAREER CENTER, AND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD AUDIT REPORTS PREPARED BY INDEPENDENT CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 20, 2003. 

Summary Explanation and Background:

 

The Auditor General has requested that this report be presented to the District School Board at its next meeting and that it be ordered filed as a part of the public records of the Board.  The District has included specific findings as it relates to the Charter Schools within Duval County.  This report was prepared and distributed by the Auditor General's Office.
