Requested Action:

RECOMMEND CORRECTION OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR MADE IN ITEM NO. 7 OF THE FACILITIES SERVICES AGENDA ON APRIL 2, 2002, REGARDING ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR DESIGN OF ADDITIONS REMODELING AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS AT ANDREW JACKSON HIGH SCHOOL NO. 35.

 

THE ITEM SHOULD HAVE READ:  “…AT A FIXED PROFESSIONAL FEE OF $104,800…” INSTEAD OF “$81,000”.  THE ERROR WAS NOTICED ON NOVEMBER 20, 2002.

Summary Explanation and Background:
This action corrects a typographical error and an oversight.  The actual amount of the negotiated fixed professional fee was $81,800 with an additional $23,000 for reimbursable expenses.   The $23,000 should have been added to the $81,800 for the actual total fee ($104,800), but this step was inadvertently omitted.
