Requested Action:
THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOAD CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING AND VOTE TO ADOPT CHANGES TO SCHOOL BOARD POLICY JLF- REPORTING CHILD ABUSE/CHILD PROTECTION, TITLE: REPORTING OF CHILD ABUSE AND CHILD NEGLECT

Summary Explanation and Background:

The changes to this policy were properly noticed under F.S. 120.

The changes to this policy reflect changes in definitions of abuse as outlined under Chapter 39, Florida Statutes.  The changes to this policy reflect current law and brings the policy in line with current District practice.
