8.  DISTRICTWIDE ROOF REPLACEMENT, STAGE II:  PHASE III (CONSTRUCTION) DOCUMENTS

DCSB PROJECT NO. M-87900

Requested Action:
RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF PHASE III (CONSTRUCTION) DOCUMENTS AS PREPARED BY THE FIRM OF PARKS THREE ARCHITECTURE, INC., FOR DISTRICTWIDE ROOF REPLACEMENT, STAGE II, AT J.E.B. STUART MIDDLE SCHOOL NO. 207.

Summary Explanation and Background:

This project scope consists of removing the entire old built-up and modified roof systems at J.E.B. Stuart Middle School No. 207 and replacement with a new modified bitumen roof system and insulation as needed.  Minor deck and roofing repairs to the existing walkway canopy are also part of the scope of work.

 

Phase III (construction) documents will be available for review in the fifth floor conference room of the Central Administration Building after 1:00 p.m. the day of the School Board meeting or at other times by contacting the Facilities Services Division.

Financial Impact:

The project is proceeding on schedule.
