Title: 12.  PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Requested Action:
RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE ATTACHED LISTs OF CONTRACTORS.

Summary Explanation and Background:

Facilities Services is prescribing uniform requirements for the prequalification of contractors working on Duval County Public Schools construction projects in accordance with Florida Statutes 1013.46(2) and State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF), Section 4.1(8), and “Prequalification of Contractors for Educational Facilities Construction”.

 

On June 23, 2005, contractor applications were reviewed and evaluated by a Contractor Prequalification Review Committee to make recommendations for the type of project, dollar volume, and limits allowed within the scope of the Prequalification to the Duval County Public Schools.
