Title: 4.  ANNUAL CONTRACTS FOR VARIOUS SERVICES: SELECTION AND CONTRACT AWARD

Requested Action:

THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVE THE SELECTION AND AWARD OF ANNUAL CONTRACTS PER THE ATTACHED LIST.  THESE FIRMS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING CONTINUING ANNUAL SERVICES FOR ASSIGNED PROJECTS HAVING ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COSTS AND STUDY FEES NOT EXCEEDING THE THRESHOLD AMOUNT OF $1,000,000 AND $50,000, RESPECTIVELY, PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 287.055, FLORIDA STATUTES' CONSULTANTS' COMPETITIVE NEGOTIATION ACT.   THESE WILL BE MULTIPLE AWARD CONTRACTS FOR AN INITIAL PERIOD OF ONE YEAR WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS.

THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN AND THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS TO EXECUTE THE STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT WHEN FORM APPROVED BY THE OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL.
