Requested Action:

THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVE FUNDING OF THE PAUL ROBESON MALE SCHOLAR ATHLETE SUMMIT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $8,000.00.

Summary Explanation and Background:

The Paul Robeson Male Scholar Athlete Summit will be held on September 22, 2007, at the Schultz Center from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

A replacement item will be provided to the Board prior to the September 4, 2007, Board Meeting.
