Title: 3. MAINTENANCE RENEWAL - SAP SOFTWARE
Requested Action:
RECOMMEND THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVE RENEWAL OF ANNUAL MAINTENANCE FOR SAP SOFTWARE FROM SAP PUBLIC SERVICES INC IN THE AMOUNT OF $353,317.
Summary Explanation and Background:
This is a procurement request by the Executive Director, Applications for the annual maintenance renewal for SAP software through December 31, 2008. This includes App2 BSI, App6 mySAP, App7 RWD InfoPak, and remote connection fee. Maintenance provides for the delivery of Release, Versions, Correction Levels and Software correction packages, support via telephone, remote support/update, Early Watch alert, and SAP Solution Manager. Maintenance is required to be current in order to receive legally required changes needed for 1099's, W2's and any other Federal accounting procedures used by the system.
Purchase is being made in accordance with Florida Administrative Rule 6A-1.012(10).
