Title: 12. ANNUAL INSPECTION OF RELOCATABLE BUILDINGS

Requested Action:
THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVE THE ANNUAL INSPECTION OF RELOCATABLE BUILDINGS DESIGNED AS CLASSROOMS INTENDED FOR STUDENT OR STAFF OCCUPANCY AND CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN FOR UNSATISFACTORY BUILDINGS.

Summary Explanation and Background:

Pursuant to Section 423.28 of the Florida Building Code and Section 5(2) of the State Requirement for Educational Facilities (SREF) an annual inspection of all relocatable buildings is required along with a corrective action plan for all unsatisfactory buildings. A copy of all inspection reports and corrective action plans shall be posted in each building.
