13. AMEND THE 2007-2008/2011-2012 LONG RANGE FACILITIES CAPITAL PLAN

Requested Action:
THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVE THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED 2007-2008 LONG RANGE FACILITIES CAPITAL PLAN PER THE ATTACHED LIST, AND A BUDGET AMENDMENT RESOLUTION

Summary Explanation and Background:

The proposed amendment includes the re‑distribution of projects in the Capital Plan to accommodate additional projects, increased construction costs, technology upgrades, and funding availability.  The result, if approved, will be higher quality projects and cost efficient execution of facilities programs.

This amendment will transfer $350,000 from TBD Future Projects to Robert E. Lee High School for site improvements
