Title: 13. PLACEMENT: AMENDED SPOT SURVEYS FOR VARIOUS SCHOOLS AND REVISED K-8 FACILITIES LIST - WITHDRAWN
Requested Action:
THAT THE DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVE THE AMENDED SPOT SURVEYS FOR VARIOUS SCHOOLS, AS SET FORTH IN THE ATTACHMENT "A" TO THIS ITEM, AS WELL AS A REVISED K-8 FACILITIES LIST.
Summary Explanation and Background:
The SPOT Surveys for these schools have been amended to reflect the current Board approved Five-Year Capital Outlay Plan and are required to update the District's Educational Plant Survey.
The Educational Plant Survey (Plant Survey) is a systematic study that aids in the formulation of plans (recommendations) for housing the educational program and student population, faculty, administrators, staff, and auxiliary and ancillary services of the district or campus, pursuant to Florida Statutes §1013.31.
The Plant Survey recommendations are based on the Facilities List for each school type. The facilities lists are the maximum space requirements for each school and each room within the school.
It is the recommendation of Facilities Services Department staff that these amended surveys be approved.
