Title: Adoption Agreement for 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan for Public Schools

Requested Action:

THAT DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD APPROVE THE ADOPTION OF THE 457(B) DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Summary Explanation and Background:

If approved by the board, this Adoption Agreement will amend and ratify the current individual plans to comply with provisions of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 (EGTRRA) and provide one plan document for all services.  Effective date of amendment shall be January 1, 2002.
