CONTINUE PROGRAMMATIC SUPPORT FOR PROGRESS MONITORING AND EVALUATION AT AN ESTIMATED COST OF $1,700,000.

Summary Explanation and Background:

Approval of this item will allow for the continued programmatic support for progress monitoring and evaluation of student achievement. The following materials and services will be purchased for this purpose.

• Purchase and scoring of the Stanford Diagnostic Reading Test and the Stanford Diagnostic Mathematics Test for grades 2-10 from Harcourt Educational Measurement
• Purchase and scoring of the Scholastic Reading Inventory from Scholastic, Inc.
• EduTest online system for progress monitoring from Lightspan 
• Program evaluations from the Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) and SERVE, Inc.

$1,700,000 from SAI funding
