   Minutes: The Chairman called the meeting to order at 5:08 p.m. and welcomed everyone for joining us this evening.

1. SWEARING IN CEREMONY
   Minutes: The Chairman asked that all family members of the three Board members being sworn in for their second term, to stand. Ms. Priestly Jackson thanked them for their support and blessings.
   
   Nancy Broner, District 2, was sworn in by Judge Michael Weatherby.
   
   Brenda Priestly Jackson, District 4, was sworn in by DeAndre Jackson.
   
   Victoria Drake, District 6, was sworn in by Reverend Perry Fruscella
   
   
2. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN
   Minutes: Ms. Nancy Broner nominated Ms. Vicki Drake for Chairman for 2006-2007. There were no other nominations.
   
   Ms. Drake was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Board for 2006-2007.
   
3. ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN
   Minutes: Ms. Kris Barnes nominated Ms. Betty Burney for Vice-Chairman for 2006-2007. There were no other nominations.
   
   Ms. Betty Burney was unanimously elected Vice-Chairman of the Board for 2006-2007.
   
4. OATH OF OFFICE
   Minutes: The following Oath of Office was administered by Reverend Perry Fruscella to the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, individually:
   
   "I, DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR (OR AFFIRM) that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution and Government of the United States and of the State of Florida; that I am duly qualified to hold office under the Constitution of the State, and that I will well and faithfully perform the duties of Chairman/Vice-Chairman."
   
   
5. ESTABLISH TIME, PLACE, AND DATE OF REGULAR MEETINGS
   Minutes: The recommendation was to maintain the time, place and date of the Regular Monthly Board Meetings for the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., in the first floor Board Room of the Administration Building, 1701 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
