   In the event SOSAMS fails to execute a contract and in order to be compliant with Section 1002.33, Florida Statutes, the District must send notice of termination to SOSAMS ninety (90) days prior to actual closure. Further, schould such a failure take place, the District will timely seek approval to actually terminate SOSAMS.

1. FOR THE RECORD
   Minutes: Ms. Rounds reminded Ms. Drake and Mr. Johnson that there will be a Professional Services Subcommittee meeting tomorrow morning, April 29, 2003, 9:00 a.m., in the Board members' conference room.
   
   Ms. Barnes mentioned that the Board members will be attending a Florida School Boards Association Master Board session in Panama City when the Annual Presidents and Principals Luncheon on May 15 takes place. Perhaps, we can get together and video something with Michael Peck.
   
   Ms. Barnes reminded the Board we will meet in the third floor conference room for a Negotiations Shade meeting following this meeting.
   
   Ms. Barrett announced that Ruby Payne will be here August 12 for a presentation at the Schultz Center, 3:30-9:00 pm. Sponsors will provide the meal, etc. - no "out of pocket" expenses for teachers. The Chamber, City Council, new Mayor and staff will also be there.
   
   Ms. Drake encouraged everyone to please call your legislators concerning our budget.
