Minutes: Board Member Martha Barrett made the following statement:
"I have asked the administration to resubmit this previously approved agenda item so that I can make the following disclosures: I am an employee of the Bank of America, however, I have had no involvement with the solicitation of, or the services provided, by Bank of America for this contract. That was handled entirely by bank employees separate from me and my division. I have had no involvement in the solicitation process conducted by District staff for the RFP for these banking services, and I have not and will now show any favoritism toward the selection of Bank of America as the vendor providing these banking services. I am advised by Counsel to verbally make these disclosures today, and that I must also abstain from the vote to be taken for this matter. I will file the appropriate form to be placed on record with the Minutes of this meeting."
