MissionThe Arlington Heights family strives to lead its children to the threshold of success by providing the tools and motivation necessary for them to realize their own vision and make it a reality.
Our mission at Arlington Heights is to motivate children to build skills and to develop learning processes, to foster individual creativity, to help children deal with personal problems, develop positive self-images, and value cultural heritages, to recognize children’s rights as citizens and strive to help them understand their personal privileges, responsibilities, and obligations in a democratic society, and to instill in them a spirit of patriotism.
We consider the individual differences of children, recognizing that each child will learn at his own rate and in his own way. Our main teaching objective is to instill in students a genuine desire to reach their dreams, maximize their potential, and become high performing individuals.
We are committed to creating a safe and civil learning environment.
We feel the parents and the community should be involved in the education of children. Teachers, working with this most necessary reinforcement, endeavor to make every child feel that he is achieving, accepted, successful, and happy. By collaboratively working together, we will eliminate any achievement gap.
Our philosophy is best stated by our vision, “Arlington Heights Elementary: Where the Needs of Children Come First. " |
