Principal's Message

Dear AHE Family,

The state tests are over! The fourth quarter is upon us. By now, students have a better understanding of just how well they are doing and just how well they have to perform to move on to the next grade. Their fate can rest on their fourth quarter performance.

The PTA fundraiser, “Cookie Dough” started March 29^th. This promises to be a favorable project because the product is so good. A date for parents to come pick up the ordered products will be announced later. Thank you in advance for helping out the PTA.

Save May 10^th for our “Spring Spectacular”. It should be bigger & better than ever! This year our Hip Hop Dance Troupe will perform, Art work will be exhibited, plus science projects will be on display. Every third trough fifth grade student will be doing an individual project while those in kindergarten through second grade will be doing whole group projects in their rooms. We are encouraging everyone to come to this open house to showcase the wonderful work of our students and faculty.

Though the year has only 8 more weeks to go, we are still very mindful of achievements and behavior. This is the time to get the children ready for the upcoming year. We are asking all parents to work with their child to reinforce this concept as spring moves on.

Lastly, it is time for children to reflect on all the fun they have had during the year. Everyone needs to enjoy each and every experience they will have in the coming weeks.
