Principal's Message

Dear AHE Family,

Our school year is off to a fantastic start. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend each of our PTA meetings  because many of the events focus on student achievement and families working together for the benefit for our children.  A family PTA membership is $5.00 and provides support to our children and classrooms.  Plan to join and attend!

Our student planners are one of our primary communication tools so that you stay informed about learning expectations, field trips, assessments, and other special events.  Please take a few moments and ask your child(ren), "What did you learn at school today?"

Thank you for a wonderful opening of school!

Please continue to follow the rituals and routines we have established at Arlington Heights Elementary:

?   Drop off your child between 8:00 – 8:25 each morning

?   Use the drive-through pick up line both in the morning and afternoon

?   Remain in the car pick-up line without passing other cars

?     Parents who are walking to meet their children should go to the north gate where they are dismissed

?   Send written notes when a transportation change needs to be made

?   Always sign-in at the office when entering the building

The safety of your child is our #1 priority.

Again, we would like to express our appreciation for all you do to prepare your child for school.  We are extremely excited about the good things that are happening here at Arlington Heights!!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Patricia Latimer,
Principal
