Principal’s Message:  Welcome!

Dear Parents,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Alimacani Elementary School  We are very proud that Alimacani has earned a grade of ‘A’ from the State of Florida for our academic achievements as reported on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Tests.  We look forward to our partnership with our families as we continue to focus on academic excellence.

 Our school’s theme for learning this year is: Red, White, and Blue…Make Your Dreams Come True!   In this upcoming election year, we’ll celebrate why we are proud of our country, our city, our community, and our school.  Our school’s curriculum is based on the New Performance Standards and the Sunshine State Standards, with an emphasis on the workshop model of teaching and learning.

                This year, our students are adopting new Guidelines for Success, based on the Foundations Program of a safe and civil school environment.  Alimacani Chiefs are: Responsible, Respectful, Safe, Honest, and Always Do Their Best!  Please encourage and support these behavior guidelines with your child.

I would like to encourage you to join your Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  This $5.00 membership will serve the children of Alimacani in a variety of ways.  Last year, our PTA sponsored many day and evening activities at the school.  These events were well-attended, fun, family experiences for all.  Thanks in advance for your support of our PTA.
