Wild About Books

Discover what happens when a librarian drives her book mobile to the zoo and introduces the joy of reading to the animals.

October

October's Book of the Month depicts childhood imagination at its best with illustrations and the ability to visualize is embraced by children and adults who take a mishap and turn it not a chance to live creatively.  Max chooses to enter the world of imagination when he engages childhood mischief and is sent to bed without supper.
Come on...Let's Take A Read...

Where The Wild Things Are!

November

Rebecca Estells dislikes pumpkins.  Some may disagree with Rebecca...after all they are fun to decorate and they make for delicious eating.  Since Rebecca was forced to eat only pumpkins (baked, steamed, boiled, stewed, mashed, and rotten), since she was so poor as a child then you might agree with her dislike for pumpkins.  Take a journey with Rebecca and embrace her new found experiences with pumpkins.
