WebQuests

What is a WebQuest?
A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which some or all of the information that learners interact with comes from the internet. as defined by Bernie Dodge of San Diego State University.

WebQuests Focus on Project-Based Instruction

"Project-Based learning is defined as a comprehensive approach to classroom learning designed to engage a student's investigation of an authentic problem, including an in-depth study of a topic worth learning.

WebQuests can provide a project-based learning environment that allows the teacher to integrate technology with high-order thinking skills.

WebQuest support our Standards-Based Instruction, Sunshine State Standards, National Educational Technology Standards, and the Duval County Technology Standards.
