The Starfall learn-to-read website is offered free as a public service.  Primarily designed for first grade, Starfall.com is also useful for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and second grade.

The starfall program was conceived by Dr. Stephen Schutz, who as a child had difficulty learning to read.  His son, Jared Schultz Polis, serves on the Colorado State Board of Education and adds his efforts into helping to make the Starfall program available to the world.  The program was built by a team of teachers, graphic artists, and computer animators across the country led by  Brandi Chase. 

Reading is a vital part of life and we feel that no child should be left behind
