~10 Information Technology students recently received Microsoft Certifications. 5 students have passed both the 70-272 exam and 70-271 to receive their MCDST Certification and 2 students passed the 70-290 to further their completion of the MCSA Certification

~CSX Donates $3,000 to the IT Academy

~ 3 APR Students place at the State Skills USA competition. 2 Students received gold medals (Electrical Wiring and Job Interviewing) 1 Student received silver for hair-weaving. The 2 gold medal winners will advance to the national competition held in Kansas City, Missouri.
