Magnet Program

As an Inspirations Magnet School, Andrew Robinson is "the preparatory program" for Kirby Smith Middle School. Andrew Robinson is distinguished by offering a program that prepares students for entrance into Kirby Smith Middle and many other mathematics, science, or pre-engineering middle schools. Our program is rooted in educational values that support our mission to provide students with opportunities to learn through hands-on instruction and experiences in a variety of settings including a fully equipped computer lab, state of the art multimedia production lab, standards supporting science lab, a research based Fast ForWord reading lab, and two pre-engineering labs for both primary and intermediate grade levels.

  • Our Annual Science Brain Brawl will be April 17, 2007 at 1:30 via closed circuit television broadcasting.
  • Our Science Extravaganza and Engineering Lab Dedication will be Thursday April 26, 2007 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room.
  • Our Big Show will be May 17, 2007 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
  • New student Magnet Orientation will be August 14th and 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Please call the school at 630-6550 for any additional information.
