Welcome Extended Day parents to the 2009-2010 school year.  We are excited about serving you and your children.  We consider our extended day program a very important extension of your child’s school curriculum.

            A.M. Session only                    7:00-8:00 AM              $13.00 weekly

            P.M. Session only                     3:00-6:00 PM              $25.00 weekly

            A.M. and P.M. Sessions                                    $38.00 weekly

To operate in an efficient manner and bring the program to you at our low cost, we must receive our Extended Day payments on a consistent basis.  Payments must be received in advance before services are provided.  No money means no child care. We accept Money Orders only. 

 Students not picked up before 6:00 will be assessed at the rate of $1.00 per minute.

.Our instructors are paid and hired according to our enrollment.  I must be able to predict payroll needs. Anyone who has special needs must talk to the Director of the Extended Day Program to work out details.

DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

For accountability purposes, and to insure the safety of all children enrolled in the Extended Day Program, the following procedures must be followed.

All Extended Day children being picked up must be signed out in a designated supervised location (Mr. Peterson’s room, #38).  Those individuals signing children out must be prepared to present proper identification.  Only those persons authorized in writing on the Extended Day registration form will be allowed to remove children from the program.

Extended day hours begin at 7:00a.m. and end at 6:00p.m.  These hours must be adhered to rigidly to ensure the safety of all children at Arlington Elementary.  Late fees may be assessed after 6:00p.m.

Late pick up which occurs more than twice during a school year may result in the child’s removal from the extended day program.  Parents experiencing unavoidable emergency situations can always contact the Extended Day Program by calling and speaking with the Extended Day Director, Mr. Peterson.
