Principal Paula Smith
Welcome to AES! I am so proud to be a part of the Arlington Elementary Family! This begins my 15th year of teaching students and coaching teachers in Duval County Public Schools! I grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School and the University of North Florida. My philosophy on education is that every child can be successful and learn to the best of their abilities, with the support of all members of TEAM Arlington (African-Proverb: “it takes village to raise a child”). I will strive to ensure that Arlington Elementary is a safe, nurturing, and educationally stimulating environment in which your child can grow. I look forward to working with you this year as we build Relationships, take Risks, to get Results!”
