A Message from the Principal

To the Falcon Family,

For the safety of our precious children, please help us with the following policies:

Students may not bring backpacks to school unless they are see-through plastic or see-through mesh material.

Students may carry the small drawstring cinch bags to carry small items.  Since students are issued a set of books for home and have another set at school, they do not have to transport heavy books.

All our young men are expected to wear belts and tuck in their shirts everyday.

Our ladies do not need to wear high heels to middle school with the number of stairs we have.  It is a safety issue.  We are here for the business of education.

Ladies must make sure their shorts, skirts, and dresses are fingertip length when their arms are at their sides.

Low cut tops or short tops that show their midriff are not appropriate.

Electronic devices and cell phones in view are a violation of the Student Code of Conduct.  Please discuss this with your child.

What can you do?

  • Get them to school on time everyday for the entire day.
  • Encourage them to believe in themselves.
  • Volunteer at school.
  • Support us when we call
  • Make appointments for conferences at least once every grading period.

The PTA/SAC Calendar is as follows:

November 13

January 22

February 26

April 16

May 21

Please get involved so we can have a voice in the future of our school and our students.  If we do not get involved, others will decide what happens to us!  Membership is $5.00 for the year.  Call Ms. Vereen at 630-6900, Ext. 107.

See you soon!...........................Dr. J.
