Renaissance Academy
The Renaissance
Academy is organized to:
-
Provide a
caring and stable environment.
-
Apply
learning strategies which are relevant, literal, effective and
appropriate to young adolescents undergoing rapid physical,
social, and emotional development.

Create a
variety of opportunities for students to explore their
individuality within the context of a community.
-
Promote
academic success for each student in the program.
-
Ensure that
by the time our students move on to the high school, they have
the learning attitudes, study skills and essential knowledge to
succeed in the high school program.
What will be
learned in the Renaissance Academy?
All Renaissance
Academy learning experiences, whether subject-specific or
cross-disciplinary are designed to encourage students to become:

The curriculum is
composed of the following subjects, in which all Renaissance
students will be enrolled:

Mathematics –
{Algebra 1, Algebra 1A, Geometry and Connected Math – M/J 2)

Studies – {World History, U.S. History, and Geography} - via
Compass Odyssey Lab.
