My name is Christina Walag. I teach 2nd Grade at Chets Creek Elementary. I have taught for 19 years, all in Duval County. I have been a teacher at Chets Creek for 10 years! I have taught in an inclusion classroom setting for 17 years with an exceptional education teacher. I really enjoy working with students with various learning needs. I was born in Tampa, Florida. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida. I moved to Jacksonville after I married my husband of 19 years! We have a Golden Retriever named Gracie. She enjoys going for walks and swimming in the pool! I enjoy teaching, going to Gator football games, camping, and traveling! One of my favorite places that I have visited is Australia! We went on a Disney Cruise this past summer. What fun!! We especially enjoyed Disney’s private island Castaway Cay! I am looking forward to another adventure with my students as we travel the world in 180 days!
