My name is Haley Alvarado.  I am beginning my 9th year of teaching.   I have taught kindergarten and first grade as a looping teacher.  This is my third year teaching with Meredy Mackiewicz and I love it!  Having the opportunity to co-teach has been amazing!  Our students get so much more attention and we really get to maximize instruction for all of our students. I love my job!

My husband, Hector, and I were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Shalyn, who will be turning three in September.  We are so excited to be expecting our second baby in September 2008.  We love to spend time with family and friends.  We are big Gator fans and love to go to home games.

Did I say that I love my job?!  I know that parents entrust their child to me each year.  I take this responsibility very seriously!  I love unfolding the talents and special interests of each child and hope that the relationships that I build with each student and each family will last a lifetime!
