JJ Ossi

I was born and raised in Jacksonville – a product of the Duval county School System from kindergarten through high school graduation. As a child I attended Jacksonville Heights Elementary. I attended S.P. Livingston 6^th Grade Center, Eugene J. butler 7^th Grade Center, DuPont Junior High and graduated from Wolfson High School.

I have been working for the Duval County Public School system since 1991. I worked as an Extended Day employee at Greenland Pines Elementary and a special education paraprofessional. I began teaching at Chets Creek in 2000. I have taught kindergarten and first grade. Both of my parents have taught in Duval County and have been wonderful mentors for my professional and personal growth.

I have two daughters, both students at Chets Creek that are the greatest joy in my life. I love to sing, and I am a voracious reader. I read from almost every genre and read for personal pleasure daily.
